Read this really fun article on fake beauty news in The Irish Times that appeared earlier this week. Writer Una Mullaly takes on articles that have previously appeared in the Irish Times. In this case she analyzed claims of a dubious product ingredient called “Radiamic clay.”
Mullaly asked me my opinion on the oddball ingredient and I offered some historical perspective. Spoiler alert: It was probably a made up name to capitalize on the radiation news surrounding Marie Curie around that time.
